Astana is a business, cultural and scientific center of Eurasia.

        Astana is not just the capital of Kazakhstan. Astana is a city of great opportunities, realization of plans and ambitions. Astana is the heart of Kazakhstan, the heart of Eurasia. It is the youngest capital of the world, but, despite of its youth, it has already a rich history, that is why Astana is the pearl of Eurasia. Everyone can find here everything he likes to do or to see.

        Every six months, arriving in Astana, you can see global changes in this wonderful and unique city, because this city is developing and flourishing before your eyes. A man who knows Kazakhstan deeply will say with confidence that Astana is also one of the symbols of the development of this country. This city is rightly called an example of the implementation of bold ideas.

       Astana is known all over the world as one of the most beautiful, young, modern cities. Thanks to the head of our state, the number of cultural institutions and research centers is increasing every year in the capital. One of the cultural attractions of Astana is the Astana Opera Theatre, well-known to many people. After its appearance, the cultural life of the capital began to shine with bright and intense colours. The people of Kazakhstan and foreign guests visiting the heart of our country certainly strive to visit our theater. Thanks to such achievements, Astana is developing as a cultural center. The theater life of the city is successfully developing, and indeed Astana is becoming the recognized cultural center of Eurasia.

       We are proud that our young and talented vocalists, dancers and musicians represent our capital, our Kazakhstan abroad.

In addition to achievements in the cultural direction, Astana also does not lag behind in business terms. The architectural appearance of the city is extremely varied. The city is rapidly embodying unique architectural projects. The priority is considered the construction of international class hotels, entertainment and business centers, which attracted large investments. Architecture of Astana is a combination of different styles. Distinctive style, modern architecture gives Astana uniqueness.

       Astana is one of the main business centers of Eurasia. International events and festivals, conferences, competitions, exhibitions are held here annually. It is very likely that in the future a lot of the economic, technological and information flows of Eurasia will inevitably pass through this city.

       In his the book "In the heart of Eurasia" the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev wrote:  “Cities, like people, have their own destiny. Each of them has its own name and unique biography, its own special character and signs according to which you cannot confuse it with any other place on earth”. I totally agree with these words.

        One of the most striking features of Astana is its diversity. And the versatility is manifested in everything. The city lives many different lives, creating its own history. It is worth listing only some of the examples. They are the VII Asian Winter Games held in 2011, which showed another facet of our capital as a city where great attention is paid to sport. In 2012 Astana was declared the cultural capital of the Turkic world, which made it possible to clearly demonstrate the role of the capital as a bridge between east and west. Not so long ago, Astana held an international exhibition of world importance “EXPO-2017”, which allowed to bring the city to a new level. In the capital residents, which represent, perhaps, all the unique ethnic diversity of Kazakhstan, the city is, on the one hand, the political center of the country, and on the other it is the place of attraction of culture.

       Astana is the center of Eurasia, the centre of the development of culture, art and business, which never ceases to amaze everyone with its beauty, excellence and achievements! We are really proud of our capital Astana, a young city for young generation!
